Earlier this year, we alerted our clients that new beneficial ownership reporting requirements under the Corporate Transparency Act (“CTA”) had taken effect, beginning January 1, 2024. As we enter the fourth quarter, we urge our clients to take the necessary steps to ensure they are in compliance. All subject businesses (“Reporting Companies”) must file a Beneficial Ownership Information Report (“BOIR”) by the end of the year.
