The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of substantive litigation experience, with a strong background in commercial litigation, foreclosure actions, and electronic discovery (e-discovery). You will be expected to play a key role in all phases of litigation, from inception through resolution, including handling complex motion practice, managing discovery (including ESI protocols), conducting and defending depositions, and preparing for trial. *non-recruiter search*
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload of commercial litigation and foreclosure matters in state and federal courts
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery-related documents with precision and clarity
- Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
- Handle all aspects of electronic discovery, including collection, review, and production of ESI
- Participate in settlement negotiations, mediations, and pretrial strategy sessions
- Provide legal counsel and strategic guidance to clients across industries
- Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas in a team-oriented environment
Requirements:
- 3+ years of litigation experience
- Hands-on experience with electronic discovery tools and processes
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational abilities, and time management
- Proven ability to manage multiple matters and work independently
- Admission to the New York Bar is required; New Jersey Bar admission is a plus
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $157,500.00 – $170,000.00 per year
