Senior Real Estate Attorney (10+yrs)

Meister Seelig & Fein PLLC is seeking a dynamic, senior-level transactional real estate attorney with 10+ years of sophisticated distressed debt and workout experience to join our active and growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and business-minded attorney who can operate independently and provide strategic counsel on complex real estate matters.

The ideal candidate has a deep and diverse background in commercial real estate transactions and advises clients on workouts, DPO’s and debt restructurings with banks, CMBS lenders and servicers, non-bank lenders and mezzanine loan providers. Debt and mezzanine foreclosure experience a plus.

The candidate must bring a sophisticated understanding of the New York real estate market and demonstrate excellent judgment, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the New York Bar
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant real estate transactional experience
  • Strong client relationship skills and a track record of leading complex transactions from start to finish
  • Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • This is a highly visible position offering a chance to work closely with entrepreneurial clients and colleagues on high-value, market-moving deals.

Job Type: Full-time  Pay: $270,000.00 – $300,000.00 per year
