Senior Real Estate Attorney (8+ yrs)

Meister Seelig & Fein PLLC is seeking a dynamic, senior-level transactional real estate attorney with 8+ years of sophisticated experience to join our active and growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and business-minded attorney who can operate independently and provide strategic counsel on complex real estate matters.

The ideal candidate has a deep and diverse background in commercial real estate transactions and regularly advises clients—including owners, developers, lenders, and investors—on a broad range of matters, including:

  • Acquisitions and dispositions of retail, office, industrial, hospitality, and mixed-use properties
  • Commercial leasing, including both landlord and tenant-side representation
  • Development, land use, and construction matters
  • Traditional and structured real estate financings, including mortgage and mezzanine debt
  • Joint venture formation and structuring, including operating and partnership agreements
  • The candidate must bring a sophisticated understanding of the New York real estate market and demonstrate excellent judgment, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the New York Bar
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant real estate transactional experience
  • Strong client relationship skills and a track record of leading complex transactions from start to finish
  • Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • This is a highly visible position offering a chance to work closely with entrepreneurial clients and colleagues on high-value, market-moving deals.

Job Type: Full-time    Pay: $207,500.00 – $270,000.00 per year
