Dercem Kaya
Associate
Dercem Kaya is an Associate in the firm’s Corporate & Securities Department. Her practice focuses on corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, public and private securities offering and other transactional matters across a variety of industries, including technology, media, life sciences and consumer products. Dercem has drafted, negotiated, and revised a range of transactional documents, including asset purchase agreements and stock purchase agreements, and has coordinated and managed transaction closings.
Prior to joining the firm, Dercem practiced at a boutique law firm focused on healthcare acquisitions. She also gained experience in global privacy and data compliance matters while working with the in-house legal team at VMware, where she assisted with matters involving international and domestic privacy regulations.
Before attending law school, Dercem worked as an analyst at Fragomen, where she focused on business immigration matters.
