Overview
Eli J. Esakoff is an Associate in the firms Commercial Litigation and Crisis Management groups. He earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in May 2024, where he served as the Associate Managing Editor for the Journal of Law and Policy and was recognized with the Carswell Merit Scholarship and a CALI Excellence for the Future Award. Mr. Esakoff has gained substantial legal experience through his Summer Associate roles at Weber Gallagher Simpson Stapleton Fires & Newby, LLP, and Meister Seelig & Fein, LLP, where he prepared court filings, conducted legal research, and supported trial preparation in complex cases, including a seven-week capital trial.
Before pursuing his legal career, Mr. Esakoff earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Psychology from Emory University, where he graduated with honors and contributed as an editor for the Philosophy Club. His dedication to legal scholarship is also reflected in his publication in the Brooklyn Journal of Law and Policy.
In addition to his legal work, Mr. Esakoff has demonstrated a commitment to community service through his involvement with the Masa Israel Teaching Fellows program in Netanya, Israel, where he taught English to primary school students and coached youth basketball.
