Overview
Matthew Classi is an Associate at Meister Seelig & Schuster, where he supports the firm’s litigation and corporate practices. His work has included preparing examination outlines for trial, researching legal issues in corporate, real estate, and intellectual property disputes, and assisting with courtroom proceedings.
Matthew previously externed for Magistrate Judge Anne Y. Shields in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, where he drafted judicial opinions and researched pretrial litigation issues. Before entering law school, he worked as a commercial real estate investment analyst at GCP Capital Group, guiding clients through financing processes and coordinating with lenders and third-party professionals. He also gained additional legal and financial experience at Donovan LLP and GAMCO Investors.
Matthew graduated cum laude from Fordham University School of Law where he served as treasurer of the Hellenic Law Students Association and as a staff member of the International Law Journal.
