Morgan Hotmer is an associate attorney in Meister Seelig & Schuster’s Taxation & Estates practice, whose practice focuses on estate planning. She works closely with individuals and families to develop comprehensive estate plans tailored to their unique goals and circumstances.
Morgan has experience drafting a wide range of estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, living wills, powers of attorney, and advanced directives. She also guides clients through the trust funding process by coordinating beneficiary designations, deed transfers, retirement account updates, life insurance changes, and property re-titling to ensure that estate plans are properly implemented.
Before entering private practice, Morgan gained valuable experience through legal internships focused on estate planning and family law, where she assisted attorneys with client counseling, legal research, document preparation, and court proceedings.
Morgan earned her JD, cum laude, from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, where she was awarded a Merit Scholarship and served as a representative for both the First Generation Law Students Association and the Pace Tax and Estate Planning Society.
