Remy Stocks is a Partner in MSS’s Commercial Litigation Group. Ms. Stocks has represented a wide variety of clients in complex commercial matters in the state and federal courts, at both the trial court and appellate levels. She has successfully represented businesses and individuals across a broad spectrum of industries in shareholder derivative actions, lender liability claims, commercial and residential real estate disputes and corporate and partnership dissolution proceedings. Ms. Stocks has extensive experience prosecuting and defending breach of contract claims, business torts, unfair competition and deceptive trade practice actions, partnership, landlord/tenant and condominium board disputes, brokerage commission claims and New York City and State rent regulation-related matters.
Ms. Stocks has been involved in all aspects of pre-trial discovery and motion practice, emergency applications and evidentiary hearings in the state and federal courts. On behalf of MSS’s clients, Ms. Stocks has managed a number of complex e-discovery projects in an effort to streamline the discovery process and reduce discovery-related costs. Ms. Stocks is a firm believer in dispute resolution when it is in a client’s best interest, and has worked tirelessly toward the favorable resolution of a number of contentious business disputes, through both private negotiations and the alternative dispute resolution process.
