Overview
Richard T. Lobas is Counsel in Meister Seelig & Schuster’s Litigation Group. He concentrates his practice on complex commercial disputes, defending the interests of corporate and professional clients in state and federal courts and in alternative dispute resolution forums.
Mr. Lobas has represented commercial entities and individuals, including broker-dealers, alternative energy companies, lawyers, architects, engineers, physicians, real estate agents, and other professionals in class actions, multi-party lawsuits, administrative agency investigations and proceedings, arbitrations, and mediations. He maintains a particular focus on statutory and contractual competition-related claims, including under the Defend Trade Secrets Act and all types of restrictive covenants.
He has extensive experience with jury trials in state and federal courts, proceedings before arbitral tribunals, including AAA and FINRA, and has successfully briefed and argued cases in state and federal appellate courts around the country.
