Congratulations to our Litigation team led by partners Stephen Meister and David Ross for obtaining a staggering victory on behalf of 5 of the most successful commercial real estate brokers in the country against their prior employer, Cushman & Wakefield.
The lesson here is if you are an employer, and we overwhelmingly represent employers, it is vital that you retain competent counsel to review the risks inherent in your decisions and to review your existing employment agreements. If you don’t, you run the risk of a Court brandishing you a “wage thief”, a moniker that emboldens potential litigants, which could lead to larger future pay-outs & irreversible reputational damage.
