Meister Seelig & Schuster, PLLC represented long-time clients Gregory and Graham Jones of GRJ, LLC—owners and operators of hotels and over 2,000 residential units nationwide—as the buyer in a $71 million acquisition of a large garden apartment complex located in Cordova, Tennessee. The transaction involved joint venture equity and tenants-in-common investors, with MSS leading all aspects of the investment and tax structure and execution.
Negotiations began in September 2023 and concluded in a closing highlighted by sophisticated acquisition and construction financing and mezzanine pledges—further demonstrating MSS’s comprehensive handling of this complicated deal from inception to closing.
