MSS Represents Glasshouse in Major 66,436-Square-Foot Lease at 3 World Trade Center
Meister Seelig & Schuster (MSS) represented Glasshouse in connection with a significant long-term lease for 66,436 square feet at 3 World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan.
The transaction was led by MSS Partners Matthew Kasindorf, Co-Chair of the Firm’s Real Estate Department, and Sal Meli.
Under the 30-year agreement, Glasshouse will occupy a portion of the ground floor and the entirety of the second and third floors at 3 World Trade Center. The new venue will mark Glasshouse’s fourth Manhattan location and establish a major new presence for the event, hospitality and experiential venue operator at the World Trade Center campus.
The transaction involved a complex three-party structure among Glasshouse, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
The new Glasshouse venue is expected to welcome more than 250,000 visitors annually, bringing additional energy and activation to the World Trade Center campus while contributing to Lower Manhattan’s continued growth as a destination for business, hospitality, culture and events.
MSS is proud to have advised Glasshouse on this significant transaction and to support the company as it continues to expand its presence in New York City.
The deal further reflects the depth of MSS’s Real Estate Department and its experience advising clients on sophisticated, high-profile leasing transactions throughout New York City and beyond.
