Benjamin H. Perry

Partner

Prior to joining MSS, Ben Perry spent two decades as a Nashville-based trial attorney and founder of the Law Office of Benjamin H. Perry, representing clients in complex federal and state criminal matters throughout Tennessee and across the United States. Known for his strategic advocacy, meticulous preparation, and highly personalized representation, Mr. Perry has built a reputation for guiding clients through some of the most serious and high-stakes legal challenges they may ever face. His practice includes federal white-collar investigations, drug trafficking and RICO cases, firearms offenses, fraud allegations, internet and computer crimes, and other major felony prosecutions in both federal and state courts.

In addition to his criminal defense practice, Mr. Perry has also selectively represented clients in a range of civil and business matters, including corporate and business litigation, representation of financial institutions, real estate litigation, and wills, trusts, and probate matters. This broader practice experience allows him to advise individuals, executives, business owners, and professionals on both litigation risk and long-term legal strategy across multiple areas of law.

Beyond his litigation practice, Mr. Perry teaches Continuing Legal Education (CLE) courses for attorneys and has served as a speaker or guest lecturer at colleges, universities and other organizations on topics involving criminal law, constitutional issues, trial advocacy, and the federal justice system.

Mr. Perry’s clients include physicians, lawyers, corporate executives, artists, athletes, military officers, bankers, engineers, elected officials, business owners, and students who value discreet, hands-on legal representation during critical moments. He is recognized for maintaining close communication with clients, providing practical counsel throughout every stage of a case, and aggressively protecting their interests in negotiations, investigations, trials, and appeals.

Admitted to practice before all Tennessee state and appellate courts, the United States District Courts for the Middle and Eastern Districts of Tennessee, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court, Ben Perry represents clients throughout Tennessee and nationwide in sophisticated criminal and civil litigation matters requiring experienced, strategic, and discreet legal representation.
