Meister Seelig & Fein is pleased to announce that it represented Grammy-winning artist Cardi B in connection with her multicategory joint venture with Revolve Group, through which she is developing her first fully owned fashion and beauty platforms, including her newly launched haircare line, Grow-Good Beauty.

Under the joint venture, Cardi B has introduced Grow-Good Beauty, a Bronx-inspired, vegan haircare line rooted in her Dominican heritage and the DIY hair rituals she has shared with fans over the years, with an accessible first collection of shampoos, conditioners, and treatments launching online this spring.

The MSF deal team was led by Louis Lombardo, a partner in the firm’s Corporate and Securities Group, and Alex Locke, an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property Group. Together, they advised Cardi B on the structuring and negotiation of the joint venture with Revolve Group, as well as related corporate, commercial and intellectual property matters.

This matter highlights MSF’s experience executing complex, cross-practice transactions at the intersection of entertainment and innovation. Our Corporate & Securities and Intellectual Property teams regularly advise artists, athletes, celebrities, creators, and emerging and established companies on entity formation, corporate structuring and governance, financing and strategic transactions, joint ventures and strategic partnerships, and brand commercialization strategies that extend beyond traditional models, with a focus on long-term brand building and ownership.
