Meister Seelig & Schuster is pleased to announce that Dercem Kaya has joined the firm as an Associate in its Corporate & Securities Practice.

Dercem focuses his practice on corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, with experience representing buyers and sellers in healthcare-related transactions from the letter of intent stage through closing. His experience includes drafting and negotiating transactional documents, coordinating closings, and advising clients throughout the acquisition process.

Prior to joining the firm, Dercem practiced at a boutique law firm focused on healthcare acquisitions. He also gained experience in global privacy and data compliance matters while working with the in-house legal team at VMware. Before attending law school, he worked at Fragomen, where he focused on business immigration matters.

Dercem’s addition further strengthens the firm’s Corporate & Securities group and its ability to advise clients across a broad range of transactional and business matters.
